examination and a comparison of conventional ECM with the experimental model, a silicon diaphragm condenser microphone produced using the MEMS method. The silicon diaphragm satisfies high-temperature resistance and stable temperature characteristics because of its very small coefficient of linear expansion and it is measured total harmonic distortion THD on high pressure sound. Finally, it will be able to be used in high temperature and high pressure sound conditions in the future.

Classification of Iranian traditional musical modes (DASTGÄH) with artificial neural network
The concept of Iranian traditional musical modes, namely DASTGÄH, is the basis for the traditional music system. The concept introduces seven DASTGÄHs. It is not an easy process to distinguish these modes and such practice is commonly performed by an experienced person in this field. Apparently, applying artificial intelligence to do such classification requires a combination of the basic infor...
متن کاملRelationship between Intelligence Quotient and Musical Ability in Children with Cochlear Implantation
Introduction: Children with cochlear implants (CIs) may experience few opportunities for positive musical experiences, and musical perception is therefore often not sufficiently developed. This paper investigates and discusses the relationship between intelligence quotient (IQ) and musical ability in children with CIs compared with children with normal hearing. ...
متن کاملMusical Acoustics and Speech Communication: Musical Pitch Tracking and Sound Source Separation Leading to Automatic Music Transcription II
This paper describes research aimed at building ‘‘active music listening interfaces’’ to demonstrate the importance of music understanding technologies, including sound source separation and F0 estimation, and the benefit they offer to end users. Active music listening is a way of listening to music through active interactions. Given polyphonic sound mixtures taken from available music recordin...
متن کاملSpeech and Music: Acoustics, Signals and the Relation between Them
The codings of speech and music are different and in some ways complementary. The voice operates on acoustical principles distinctly different from those of (other) musical instruments. This paper explains how and poses the question: are the different codings the result of the different acoustics, or vice versa? What if the instruments came first? This paper develops the conjecture that the pit...
متن کاملMusical Acoustics and Speech Communication: Musical Pitch Tracking and Sound Source Separation Leading to Automatic Music Transcription I
A powerful pitch estimation algorithm called SWIPE has been developed for processing speech and music. SWIPE is shown to outperform existing algorithms on several publicly available speech and musical instrument databases, and a disordered speech database, reducing the gross error rate by 40%, relative to the best competing algorithm. In short, SWIPE estimates the pitch as the fundamental frequ...
